Weekly Farmers Market
Our weekly market is held at Shepherd Park in the center of Lake George Village every Wednesday starting June 7th for 14 weeks.
Our Weekly Wednesday Farmers Market, Street Event, and Artisan market, in our findings, vacation spots are challenging with just produce. So our focus is to have a mix of vendors with prepackaged goods to crafts, herbal drinks, snacks, sweets, spices, drinks, cookies, bread, pet treats, honey, maple syrup, spirits, popcorn, specialty soaps, pet items, cheese, frozen fruit popsicles, and hand made items. Folks on vacation rarely buy produce because they are in hotels; our farmers bring berries, apples, fresh apple doughnuts, apple cider, and a few other great items of interest; mostly items that can be eaten without cooking. Our market has proven to be successful in attracting great attendance.
We will utilize social media, print, local guidebooks, posters, magazines, and any other effective media advertising campaigns. we will be utilizing a public relations firm to assist in our media reach besides local and vacationers that are present, we want to drive new traffic for our events, which will effectively be implemented in, NY, NJ, PA, NH, MA, VT, and Canada; within a greater reach of 100 miles plus of events. In our vendor portal, we will post our advertising.
Please fill out the application and send into our office to be put on our list. No deposit at this point is needed. Once you are approved to be a part of our show, we will send you payment information.
As with any event you do in Lake George; you will need a Lake George Village Vendor Permit which is good for the year. With any event in the village, if you’re doing all our shows, weekly market, and festivals, or any other event other than ours the permit are good for them all. You only need one, yearly, if you do not have one you can download the form and mail it to our office with a check made out to – Lake George Village for $50 – if you have one please send us proof/copy is fine/ screenshot etc.
If you have not filled out your Lake George Vendor Permit; you can download the form here. You can mail it in with your vendor contracts or send it directly to the village if you prefer. However, the way you prefer you do need one of these permits to vend in Lake George.
The Permits are good for the whole season. You only need 1. There is a 2-week wait time for the filing of our permit and receiving it; please allow for this time frame for your permit.
